DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Transfer of jurisdiction agreement numbers 93-TJ-010 and 93-TJ-011 between the Iowa Department of Transportation, City of Denver and Bremer County transferred Unsigned Iowa 943 to the City of Denver and Bremer County on July 1, 1995.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that Unsigned Iowa 943 in Denver and the rural section be deleted from the Primary Road System.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to the relocation of US 63 in Bremer County, a portion of the former route of US 63 was re-designated as Unsigned Iowa 943 in 1994.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended to approve the re-designation of the section of road as described in the attachment as Unsigned Iowa 943 in Bremer County.

New Description - Unsigned Iowa 943 and its extensions in Bremer County described as follows:

Beginning at the W ¼ Corner SW ¼ Section 25-T91N-Rl3W; thence northeasterly and northerly following substantially the section line of Section 25-T91N-R13W to the south corporation line of Denver connecting with State Street.

Denver:

Beginning on State Street at the south corporation line; thence north on State Street to the north corporation line.

Beginning again at the north corporation line of Denver connecting with State Street; thence north following substantially the section line of Section 24-T91N-R13W to the NW Corner Section 24-T91N-R13W.
